Ratio: A testatrix gave a share of her residuary estate to the children of Mary Gladman deceased. Mary Gladman left two children, one legitimate, the other illegitimate. Evidence was admitted to prove that the illegitimate child had acquired the reputation of being the child of Mary Gladman ; that the testatrix well knew that fact, and that Mary Gladman left only those two children.
